Kenneth Salters is a versatile performer who has shared the stage with a broad array
of musicians, from Aretha Franklin to Chris Potter. He holds a B.M. in percussion performance from the University of South Carolina, where he studied a wide range of genres and techniques. His teachers have included John Riley, Jim Hall, Scott Burkholder, Ed Nagel, Chris Lee and Scott Herring. As a rock drummer, Kenneth toured nationally with the rock band Boxing Day,
with whom he also recorded Above it All for Universal Records. Kenneth is currently a freelance drummer in New York
City where he can be seen playing with a variety of ensembles.
